Angela McLean brings extensive experience and a personalized approach to every treatment, ensuring each session is thoughtfully tailored to your skin’s unique needs. This Q&A section has been designed to help you feel informed, prepared, and confident, allowing you to get the most out of every appointment and skincare session.

Your first appointment includes a personalized consultation, skin analysis, and customized treatment selection based on your current skin condition, concerns, and long-term goals.

Please allow approximately 30 additional minutes for your initial visit to ensure a thorough consultation. New clients will complete intake paperwork prior to the consultation. You are encouraged to bring your current skincare products or photos of the products you are currently using, as this helps provide a more accurate assessment of your skin and routine.

Following the consultation, the most appropriate treatment will be selected based on your skin health, needs at the time of your visit, and desired long-term results.

Yes. A complimentary 30-minute consultation is offered for first-time clients.

Consultations are designed to evaluate your skin condition, discuss your concerns and goals, and determine the most appropriate treatment plan and home care recommendations for your skin.

Treatments are selected based on your skin condition, sensitivity level, lifestyle, concerns, desired long-term goals, and the condition of your skin at the time of your appointment.

Every treatment is customized rather than performed with a one-size-fits-all approach.

For example, if you are preparing for a special occasion and would like smoother, more radiant skin with minimal downtime, a treatment such as a HydraFacial, AquaBrasion, or a custom medical grade facial designed by Angela may be recommended.

However, concerns such as acne scarring, texture irregularities, fine lines, wrinkles, firmness, pigmentation, and overall skin rejuvenation typically require a series of treatments rather than a single appointment.

Long-term skin transformation is achieved through consistency, professional treatments performed at appropriate intervals, and a customized home care regimen designed to support and maintain results over time.

To help minimize sensitivity and achieve optimal results, discontinue the use of exfoliants, retinol, tretinoin, prescription retinoids, acids, scrubs, and aggressive exfoliating products at least 7–10 days prior to your treatment. Waxing, epilation, dermaplaning, and other professional exfoliating treatments should also be avoided during this time to prevent excessive skin sensitivity or irritation.

Results vary depending on the treatment performed, skin condition, lifestyle, and consistency with home care. Some treatments provide immediate radiance, while others may require a series of treatments for more progressive improvement.

For example, with microneedling, results vary from patient to patient, as skin response and regeneration differ based on individual skin condition, lifestyle, and overall treatment goals. A customized series of treatments may be recommended depending on your specific concerns and desired outcome.

With chemical peels, results depend on the type and depth of the peel being performed. Superficial peels may provide an immediate glow and smoother appearance, while more corrective peels may involve visible peeling and additional recovery time.

All treatment expectations, downtime, preparation, aftercare, and recommended treatment plans will be thoroughly discussed during your consultation to determine the most appropriate approach for your skin at the time of your visit.

Downtime varies depending on the procedure performed, your individual skin condition, and your natural healing process. Many treatments involve little to no downtime, while others may include temporary downtime depending on the service performed and your body’s individual response to treatment.

For more corrective treatments, downtime typically ranges from approximately 3–7 days, although healing time varies from patient to patient. Recovery expectations and post-care instructions will be thoroughly reviewed with you prior to your treatment.

Collagen Induction Therapy, also known as microneedling, is a non-invasive skin rejuvenation treatment designed to support collagen production and improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, acne scarring, texture irregularities, pores, firmness, and overall skin quality.

The treatment typically consists of skin preparation, customized microneedling, and the infusion of targeted corrective serums such as peptides, hydration complexes, exosomes, or growth factor-based formulations depending on the skin’s needs.

Nano infusion may also be incorporated in certain treatments to enhance product absorption and overall skin rejuvenation
HydraFacial, also commonly referred to as hydra dermabrasion or aqua facial treatments by other brands, is a non-invasive medical-grade facial designed to cleanse, exfoliate, extract impurities, and deeply hydrate the skin with little to no downtime.

HydraFacial MD is one of the most recognized professional systems used to perform this type of treatment.

The treatment typically includes cleansing, gentle exfoliation, painless extraction, hydration, and customized serum infusion based on the skin’s needs.

Enhancements such as lymphatic drainage, LED light therapy, or targeted boosters may also be incorporated depending on the treatment goals.
Microcurrent is a non-invasive treatment that uses low-level electrical currents designed to help stimulate facial muscles and support overall skin rejuvenation.

Often referred to as a “non-surgical facial toning treatment,” microcurrent may help improve the appearance of facial contour, firmness, tone, and overall skin vitality, resulting in firmer, tighter, and more lifted-looking skin.

The treatment helps support the muscles in retaining their original memory of a more youthful complexion. This is a non-invasive treatment with little to no downtime.

PRX-T33 is a non-invasive skin rejuvenation treatment often referred to as a “no-peel peel” or biorevitalization treatment.

It combines trichloroacetic acid (TCA), hydrogen peroxide, and kojic acid to help stimulate collagen production and improve skin texture, tone, firmness, and overall radiance with minimal to no visible peeling or downtime.

The treatment may help improve the appearance of fine lines, laxity, dullness, acne scarring, and uneven skin tone while leaving the skin smoother, firmer, and more refreshed.

A series of treatments may be recommended depending on individual skin condition and treatment goals.
LED Light Therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses specific wavelengths of light designed to support overall skin health and rejuvenation.

Different light colors target different skin concerns and may help improve the appearance of acne, inflammation, dullness, and visible signs of aging with little to no downtime.

Professional LED devices are typically stronger, more advanced, and designed to deliver more consistent treatment results than most home-use devices. Home devices may help support maintenance between professional treatments but generally operate at lower intensities.

• Red Light — helps support collagen production, skin rejuvenation, and the appearance of firmness and fine lines
• Blue Light — commonly used for acne-prone skin to help target acne-causing bacteria and congestion
• Yellow Light — helps support circulation, calming, and overall skin radiance and balance

A Gua Sha Lymphatic Facial is a non-invasive treatment designed to help support lymphatic drainage, circulation, and overall skin rejuvenation using specialized smooth-edged tools such as Jade or quartz, crystal, and gentle sculpting techniques.

The treatment may help reduce the appearance of puffiness, fluid retention, congestion, and facial tension while promoting a more lifted, sculpted, and radiant appearance.

This treatment is often combined with customized skincare, hydration, facial massage, or other supportive modalities depending on the skin’s needs and treatment goals.

Lymphatic drainage is a gentle non-invasive technique designed to help support the movement of lymphatic fluid, circulation, and overall skin wellness.

It may help reduce the appearance of puffiness, fluid retention, congestion, and facial tension while promoting a more sculpted, refreshed, and radiant appearance.

Lymphatic drainage may be performed manually or with specialized tools and is often incorporated into facial treatments to support skin health and overall treatment results.

A chemical peel is a professional skin resurfacing treatment designed to help improve the appearance of texture irregularities, acne, discoloration, fine lines, dullness, and overall skin clarity through controlled exfoliation and skin renewal.

Chemical peels range from lighter superficial peels with little to no downtime to more corrective treatments that may involve visible peeling and additional recovery time.

Common ingredients may include lactic acid, glycolic acid, kojic acid, alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), beta hydroxy acids (BHAs) such as salicylic acid, retinol-based formulations, and TCA (trichloroacetic acid).

The appropriate peel is selected based on your skin condition, sensitivity level, concerns, lifestyle, and treatment goals at the time of your appointment.

Dermaplaning is a gentle non-invasive exfoliation treatment designed to gently remove surface dead skin buildup and fine vellus hair (“peach fuzz”) using a specialized sterile tool.

The treatment may help improve skin smoothness, product absorption, and overall skin radiance while creating a softer, more refined appearance with no downtime.

Medical-grade skincare products typically contain higher concentrations of active ingredients scientifically formulated to help target specific skin concerns such as acne, discoloration, aging, dehydration, and texture irregularities more effectively.

These products are often dermatologist-tested, physician and aesthetician approved, non-comedogenic, and formulated without unnecessary fragrances or harsh ingredients.

Over-the-counter products generally contain lower concentrations of active ingredients, making them milder and less corrective in strength.
